Tau
Malachi is a modern spiritual teacher
and mystic, and is among the leading exponents
of Christian Kabbalah and Christian Gnosticism
in our times – he is the author of several
books, with a book on “Gnostic Healing”
forthcoming, as well as extensive writings
published on the worldwide web.
Malachi
began his spiritual journey in his youth at
the age of eight, when he met his spiritual
teachers, Tau Elijah and Mother Sarah, who
taught and initiated him into the Sophian
Gnostic tradition – a mystical tradition
that honors St. Mary Magdalene and that teaches
a Christian Kabbalah. When he was sixteen,
Malachi received the blessing of Tau Elijah
as his spiritual successor in the lineage
and when he was twenty-one he took up the
mantle of a lineage-holder, and elder and
tau, founding Sophia Fellowship, a circle
or community of the Sophian tradition.
Today
Malachi is the presiding lineage-holder or
knowledge-keeper of the tradition, and he
is the founder of Ecclesia Pistis Sophia,
an international Gnostic church that represents
the modern form of the Sophian lineage. He
is also a consecrated Independent Apostolic
Bishop, and has extensive experience in diverse
wisdom traditions of the West and the East,
and is noted for a syncretic weave of wisdom
in his teachings and work.
Malachi
lives in the rural foothill town of Grass
Valley, California, where he continues to
record the oral tradition of Sophian Gnosticism
in writing, and continues to teach and initiate,
and to practice the prophetic, healing and
wonderworking arts of the tradition.
