Joanna
owns and directs The
Center for Greater Loving where she offers
private sessions, products, and workshops
that help liberate people to be their natural
selves, create amazing relationships and businesses,
and be the innate leaders that they are. She
dedicates her life to helping men and women
take off their masks, celebrate the magic
and mystery of true being, true relating,
and true leadership. Personally, she practices
living every moment of life as an expression
of love, joy, peace, and passion, while keeping
a constant focus on authentically living and
leading.
Joanna
Kennedy lived the American dream. She married
after college, climbed the corporate ladder,
owned a beautiful home, had a great retirement
account…and she cried on the phone to
her mother nearly every week. As the oldest
daughter of a single mother, she grew up responsible
and reliable, learning quickly never to depend
on a man.
Joanna
built a solid career for herself, getting
an electrical engineering degree, an MBA,
and a six-figure salary. She proved that not
only did she not need a man, but that she
could also be as good a man as any man. Throughout
her corporate career Joanna often acted as
an agent of change regularly making presentations
to senior management in the male dominated
high-tech and oil & gas industries. She
worked for companies like Shell Oil Services,
Altavista, and Raytheon Engineering. She felt
proud of her accomplishments, but hated her
life. This was not her dream. It was no one’s
dream – a life manufactured out of fear,
low self-esteem, and perfectionist demands.
In
2001, Joanna was fortunate enough to attend
a workshop where she unearthed her feminine
nature, buried deep inside 20 years earlier.
She realized that burial as the source of
much of the pain and challenge in her life.
Joanna decided to end the “masculine”
game and fifteen months later quit her job
and began her journey to happiness.
When
Joanna walked away from her unfulfilling corporate
life she began studying complementary health,
personal development, relationship dynamics,
and spirituality. Since then she has become
an Accredited Journey Practitioner, Conscious
Business and Personal Coach, as well as a
Relationship Coach and Educator. Joanna is
a graduate of The Journey Practitioners Program,
The Visionary Leadership Program, and Anthony
Robbins’ Mastery University and Leadership
Academy. She has also studied Healing Touch,
Neuro Stress Release, and other holistic healing
modalities.
In
addition to her work with the Center for Greater
Loving, Joanna consults with and presents
seminars to corporations and organizations
on all aspects of leadership and diversity
in the workplace. This work offers employee
tools, education, and awareness, while simultaneously
resolving direct and indirect issues related
to diversity. As a result, team cohesiveness,
cooperation, and moral increase which in turn
drives improved bottom-line results and profitability.
