use eco friendly technologies and make them
work for you. Leitman is also a blogger for
the Planet Green website and Greenopia.com.
Seth is also President of the Westchester
County Green Drinks club. Recently, Leitman
authored the books Build Your Own Plug In
Hybrid Electric Vehicle (09) which and Build
Your Own Electric Vehicle (Oct 08), from McGraw-Hill
and is working on Solar Energy DeMystified
and Green Lighting. Seth also worked for the
NYPA and NYSERDA on marketing and managing
AFV and EV programs in the State of New York.
He also worked on green buildings, LED traffic
lights with the City of NY and indoor air
quality in schools. Leitman created the NYPA/TH!NK
Clean Commute Program which leased 100 electric
vehicles. This program was covered by USA
Today, AP, New York Times, CNN, Good Morning
America, the Today Show, and others. Seth
was also Project Manager for the Clean Fuel
Bus Program that funded over $100 million
to alternative fueled vehicle buses. Seth
also worked on GEM and TH!NK Neighbor low
speed vehicles for New York State.
