Howard Schechter, Ph.D., is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Northwestern University. He is a consultant, teacher and counselor in the areas of individual and organization development. He has over 30 years of experience in the field and has worked with hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals in this capacity. Howard is author of Intimate Partners, Rekindling the Spirit in Work, and Jupiter's Rings: Balance from the Inside Out. Howard founded the Department of Organization Development and Transformation at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California where he served as department chairman and professor from 1985 to 1991. He teaches regularly at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur and consults to businesses and organizations internationally.
